What Accessibility Means to Me

< last edited on March 1st, 2009 >

Accessibility means being able to have access to something just about anywhere, anytime. It’s user friendly, reliable and always up to date.
Accessibiltiy isn’t only important to me for my needs, but it’s also important to know that something can be used by everybody.
Websites for example, should give everyone the opprotunity to read and interact with its content. People can communicate better and have a better understanding when they are able to relate to the same materials that has been presented to them.
In some cases, accessiblilty cannot be allowed for security purposes of course, but the meaning of the word still remains true to what I believe it to be. Which is why I find it extremely important to format your site so that people with disabilities can also interact with the information on the page.
